MONSTERS:

Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit  (3)
Level 6
atk: 2100  def: 1400
light/dragon
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). This card cannot attack during the turn it is Special Summoned this way. When this card is Tributed: Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, also make its ATK and DEF 0.

Easily one of the most important hieratic's as almost all of your combo's will most likely start with summoning tefnuit, best friends with su, special summon this monster and tribute it away for another hieratic monster, activating tefnuit's effect to special summoning a normal dragon monster and your combo's have begun.

Hieratic Dragon of Su  (3)
Level 6
atk: 2200  def: 1000
light/dragon
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Hieratic" monster. Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 "Hieratic" monster, except this card, from your hand or your side of the field, to target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target. When this card is Tributed: Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and make its ATK and DEF 0.

The key link of all hieratic decks is always su, being able to special summon itself by tribute'n another hieratic, activating there effects in the grave to special summon normal dragon's to begin the xyz plays, whilst also being able to further tribute more hieratic's in your hand to destroy your opponent's spell/traps to weaken there defence whilst still setting of the tributed monsters effects make su the best hieratic in your main deck.

Hieratic Dragon of Eset  (3)
Level 5
atk: 1900  def: 1200
light/dragon
You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing, but its original ATK becomes 1000. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up Dragon-Type Normal Monster on the field; the Levels of all face-up "Hieratic" monsters currently on the field become the Level of that monster, until the End Phase. When this card is Tributed: Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and make its ATK and DEF 0.

Eset is your backup normal summon if you are lacking tefnuit, being able to normal summon itself helps you to take to the field lacking tef to still be able to combo with su to start up the general combo's, as well as having the utility for additional rank 5 plays or material for high level synchro's such as star eater.

Hieratic Dragon of Nebthet  (0-2)
level 5
atk: 2000  def: 1600
light/dragon
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Hieratic" monster. Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 "Hieratic" monster, except this card, from your hand or your side of the field, to target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy that target. When this card is Tributed: Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and make its ATK and DEF 0.

Nebthet is a usefull but not always needed part of the deck, being kind of a copycat su, it shares the effect to tribute other hieratic's on the field to summon itself, or tribute hieratic's in the hand to destroy opponent's monster's, but being level 5 means its not usable for your rank 6 xyz's means it can only then be used for the odd rank 5.

Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb  (0-1)
Level 4
atk: 1800 def: 400
light/dragon
When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and make its ATK and DEF 0. When this card is Tributed: Special Summon 1 "Hieratic" Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

Gebeb is really only useful as an early normal summon, not a very useful card late game, you wont ever want to tribute gebeb for its effect, as its doutfull you be playing the hieratic normal monster's. gebeb's best play comes if it can manage to destroy a monster, to special summon a laborite dragon from your deck, for a level 10 synchro such as leo or trident dragion.

Hieratic Dragon of Sutekh  (0)
Level 8
atk: 2800 def: 2000
light/dragon
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 Dragon-Type Normal Monsters in your Graveyard. Once per turn: You can banish 1 Dragon-Type monster from your Graveyard to target 1 card on the field; destroy that target.

Sadly sutekh aint got bad attack nor a bad effect, but the summoning cost is so big and hurts the decks flow to much to be worth running.

Hieratic Dragon of Asar  (0)
Level 7
atk: 2600 def: 700
light/dragon
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT Dragon-Type monster and 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from your Graveyard. If this face-up card on the field would be destroyed, you can Tribute 1 face-up "Hieratic" monster instead, except this card.

Asar is very counter productive to how hieratic's play, being of the wrong level to be of any use to the other monster's and an effect that is of little use.

Hieratic Dragon of Nuit  (0)
Level 4
atk: 1700 def: 900
light/dragon
Once per turn, during either player's turn, when this face-up card on the field is targeted by a Spell Card, Trap Card, or card effect: Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and make its ATK and DEF 0.

Of no use at all.

Hieratic Seal of the Dragon King (0)
Level 6
atk: 0 def: 0
light/dragon/gemini
This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect.
● You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Hieratic" monster, except "Hieratic Seal of the Dragon King", from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, in face-up Defense Position.

No use.

Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord  (0)
Level 8
atk: 0 def: 0
light/dragon/normal

Again no use.

ADDITIONAL MONSTER'S

Maxx c:
being a very fast paced/combo paced deck, hieratic's need a strong hand, and there's no better hand traps than maxx c for that job.

Wattail dragon:
A decent level 6 normal dragon for use in large xyz combo's

Laborite dragon:
Again a decent level 6 normal dragon but also a tuner monster, means laborite can be used for most synchro's aswell as all rank 6 xyz's. has also great combo ability with the card inferno reckless summon to summon all 3 from your deck

Curse of Dragon:
Highest atk level 5 normal dragon used for rank 5 plays.

Dragard:
A great little addition to any hieratic deck, later in the game very much, being your main monster to make level 10 synchro plays with laborite dragon.

Red-eyes darkness metal dragon:
Needs no more words just an awsome card that cant be matched, usefull in all ways.

EXTRA DECK MONSTER:

Hieratic Dragon King of Atum:  (2-3)
Rank 6
atk: 2400 def: 2100
light/dragon/xyz
2 Level 6 Dragon-Type monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster from your Deck, and make its ATK and DEF 0. This card cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect.

Your main summon from the extra deck, being able to open up the ability for all combo's in the deck, by being able to get any dragon in your deck for the purpose, for little cost.

Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis (0)
Rank 8
atk: 3000 def: 2400
light/dragon/xyz
2 Level 8 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Tribute any number of monsters from your hand and/or your side of the field (minimum 1), then destroy an equal number of cards on the field.

Additional extra deck monster's:

Star eater:
a strong beater monster.

Trident Dragion:
One of hieratic's best means to otk the opponent hightly useful.

Leo, the keeper of the sacred tree:
another great lvl 10 for use can be very difficult for the opponent to get over.

Gaia dragon the thunder charger:
Great for summoning over atum, as after using its effect atum cant atk, so summon gaia for that great beater with piercing.

SPELLS/TRAPS:

Hieratic seal of convocation:
Add 1 "Hieratic" monster from your Deck to your hand.

The only real good hieratic support spell/trap, used for adding what ever hieratic you may need for the situation.

Additional spells/traps:

Trap stun:
stunning the opponent for one turn means this deck can go nuts on the field very important.

Upstart goblin and reckless greed:
used for the speed and hand advantage.

Soul charge:
Hieratic's dump monster's into the grave rapidly so soul charge is almost always live.

Inferno Reckless summon:
Combo's great with laborite dragon for a large swarm of the field, can be very saccy, has possibily of being dead in hand tho, use caution.
